Lessons from letters from the past:
1. Beware of blackmail material. And encourage people to not keep letters that are more than five years long.
2. I was such an insecure, manipulative person.
3. In upper primary, bitching was a class-wide past time.
4. Lower secondary was spent, in part, crushing egos and social climbing.
5. I have such cute friends and juniors in upper sec!
6. I've forgotten so many things. (Although most of them were voluntary.) Like friends I should have treasured more.
7. I should have treasured the friendship more.
8. It is bad fengshui to sit under The Beam.
9. Seriously. I was, and perhaps am still, such an unappreciative, stubborn, proud person.
You were the one who said that we haven't come to the end of the road,
So why have we stopped walking?
